Purchasing & Account
How do I purchase your products?
The only way is right here on the official fedDSP website. Every product page has a BUY button that takes you straight to checkout.
What can I see in my account?
Your account allows you to view all past orders, download receipts, retrieve license keys, and manage your email addresses.
Do I have to set up an account?
Yes. On your first visit, please click 'Sign Up' on the account page. Please ensure that you use the same email address that you used at checkout. Select a suitable password, receive a confirmation code to your email, and you will be able to log in.
I logged into my account, but my licenses are missing.
This usually happens if you used a different email address at checkout. Please check your purchase confirmation email to make sure that you are using the correct address. If you continue to run into problems, get in touch with support for help.
I changed my email address. What do I need to do?
Within your 'my account' page, locate your user settings badge and head to 'manage account' by the drop down menu. From there, you can add your new email address and set it as your primary email for your account.
I signed in with a different Apple or Google account than I used to purchase.
In the order confirmation email you received, you can find your order number, the purchase date, and the type of product you bought. Please contact us at our email address with this information and we'll sort it out.
Why does my bank statement say 'LEMSQZY*' ?
We use Lemon Squeezy as our secure payment processor. Charges may appear as LEMSQZY* on your statement.
Why is the purchase total fractionally different from what was on the purchase page?
We use Lemon Squeezy as our secure payment processor. Although prices are displayed in GBP on our site, Lemon Squeezy processes payments in USD and converts them at the live exchange rate at checkout. Because of currency conversion and rounding to two decimal places, the final total can occasionally differ by a penny/ cent or so from the listed price.
Do you offer educational discounts?
Not currently, although we are considering this for the future.
Installation & Demo Versions
How do I install the plugins?
Download the installer for your OS from our Downloads page, run it, and restart your DAW so it can scan the new plugins.
Where are the plugins installed?
macOS: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 and /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components. Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. We only install to standard system locations.
What are the system requirements?
Specific requirements are listed individually on each product and plugin page. However, it is worth noting that all fedDSP plugins are designed to be as light as possible on CPU and other system resources, so you should not need cutting hardware to be able to run our plugins.
How will I know about updates?
The latest versions will always be available on the download page. We will notify product owners by email of a new version when it is released.
How do I completely uninstall plugins?
Delete the plugin files from your system plugin folders: macOS: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 and /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components or Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. No additional files or services are installed.
Can I get a demo version?
Yes. Demo versions are available from the Downloads page.
What are the limitations of the demo versions?
The demos are fully functional but will output a brief silence periodically.
Can I get demo versions of Sample or IR packs?
No. Due to the nature of unencrypted audio files, we cannot offer demos for sample or IR packs. Please use the audio examples on the product page to decide which pack is right for you.
Licensing & Activation
How do I activate my license?
Open the plugin, click the fedDSP logo, press 'Paste License', and paste the full key including BEGIN and END lines.
Can I activate without an internet connection?
Yes. All licenses work entirely offline. Just paste your license key into the plugin.
How do I move my plugins to a new computer?
Install the plugin on your new machine and activate using your existing license key. Please ensure that you remain within the limit of 3 personal activations per license.
Can I use my license on multiple computers?
Yes. You can activate on up to 3 personal machines.
How do I deactivate a license?
Open the plugin, click the fedDSP logo, and select 'Deactivate' to free an activation slot.
Can I sell or transfer my license?
Yes. License transfers are handled manually. Email support@feddsp.com with your order details. A small charge is made for this service.
Troubleshooting
I found a bug. How do I report it?
Email support@feddsp.com or report it in our Discord bugs page. Please make sure that you include the name of the plugin, your OS, DAW version, and steps to reproduce the bug. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about any bugs that you find.
The plugin is not showing up in my DAW.
Restart your DAW, rescan plugins, and confirm your DAW is scanning standard system folders.
I'm experiencing CPU spikes or glitches.
Ensure your buffer is at least 128 samples and that you are running the latest plugin version. Our plugins are extremely low CPU by design, so persistent issues usually indicate system or host configuration problems.
