KONVIKT is a complete heavy guitar suite, developed with Konan Hall of Sheffield metal heroes Malevolence. From his roots in the Steel City’s iconic DIY hardcore scene through to gracing the world’s most prestigious venues and festivals, Kon has earned a reputation for building and refining modernised rigs that balance the intensity and brutality of his genre with the technical and practical versatility required by his artistry, both on stage and in the studio.
Now, Kon has teamed up with fedDSP to bring that ingenuity into the digital world: building an entirely original rig from the ground up that delivers the character, response, control and impact that his sound and growing legacy demand.
Built around two original amplifiers, KONVIKT was designed to solve an age-old challenge: how do you get the weight, pressure and aggression of a timeless heavy stack into a digital environment, without losing the addictive rawness that got us all hooked on playing guitar in the first place?
That goal shaped every element of this suite, from the earliest R&D through to the finishing touches and details. Soulful cleans that respond and saturate. UNCOMPROMISED POWER, FROM CLEAN TO FILTH.
The 777 is the cleaner half of KONVIKT. It can stay pristine and modern, or be pushed into a mid-forward British crunch with the authentic harmonic resonance Kon uses to ground the band’s more melodic, atmospheric moments. Expressive, flexible, and an excellent pedal platform, the 777 is just as useful for low-gain shaping as it is for full rhythm and lead setups that need a clearer touch.
One offers touch and articulation, the other gives you sheer power and violence.
Together, they make KONVIKT a versatile rig fit for any composition with a heart in heavy music. The selectable power amp section and advanced panel give both amps another layer of customisation and control. You can fine-tune exactly how the low-end hits the front of the amp, shape the mid-range focus, and dial in the specific attack and brightness of your signal. To focus on feel, the power section can be adjusted to respond anywhere from soft and emotive to stiff and immediate under load. With an integrated fast limiter to manage output clipping, the advanced panel is a simple but powerful tool to push each amp from precise and controlled to maximum aggression.

KAMI
Consistency is vital when playing technical, high-gain riffs. KAMI is a streamlined compressor designed to manage dynamics before they hit the saturation stages.
By evening out the signal, it ensures your pick attack stays percussive and your leads remain fluid, providing the sustain and control needed for a high-impact performance on any stage.
RAIJU
The relationship between Kon’s overdrive and high-gain head is the true secret key to the lethal ‘bite’ of his setup.
RAIJU is built to tighten the low-end and push the mid-range forward. The Vintage mode offers a fuller, classic overdrive response, while Modern keeps the saturation ultra-tight for fast, aggressive rhythm work.
SHI
One of Kon’s favourite components of this suite, SHI is the ultimate tool for sharpening a sound’s intent.
SHI allows you to target a specific frequency band and saturate only that area before mixing it back into the chain. Add grind to the mids, weight to the lows, or edge to the highs, giving added violence exactly where the composition demands it.
Built-In FX Racks
TIME DELAY brings flexibility to spatial design. Its analogue-style repetitions keep echoes musical and distinct, with dedicated vibrato and chorus modulation on the wet signal to provide a natural, constantly evolving texture.
Equipped with a mono/stereo mode, an independent level control, and a sync switch to match the DAW’s tempo to the repetitions, TIME is streamlined for adding space to melodic breaks and lead sections while maintaining total clarity.
FLOOD REVERB is a hall-style reverb built for cinematic scale and atmosphere. Its integrated shimmer layer adds a second reverb tail pitched an octave higher for greater size, atmosphere, and emotional impact.
Used subtly it adds air, pushed harder it provides the massive, ambient power Kon uses to ground Malevolence’s most emotional compositions.
CIRCLE CHORUS is a flexible modern chorus that adds spatial width and movement.
A useful pre/post switch allows you to place the effect either at the start of the FX chain to modulate the delay, or as the final stage to finish the sound. Simple, effective stereo image broadening that adds depth to clean or lead tones without sacrificing punch.
CABS AND EQ, WITH YOU IN THE TRENCHES.
The cab section is built to offer a range of high quality options that support the body of your tone. Start with any of the 25 custom-made impulse responses, load your own, or combine and blend multiple models, and shape the final tone for the right mix of character, bite and depth.
To keep the low-end tight and focused, you can refine the phase response with per-cab phase flip and time alignment tools.
If you’re looking for a quicker route to something unexpected, RANDO can instantly throw up new cab combinations to spark creativity.
The ROOM control finishes the sound with an added sense of space, helping the guitar sit more naturally and feel like a properly recorded source rather than a dry amp output.
The final shaping stage in KONVIKT consists of an 8-band graphic EQ with high-pass and low-pass filters, paired with a dedicated UNMUD control, a dynamic low-mid utility to keep heavy palm mutes clear and uncompromised.
All-in, it’s a collection designed to keep your heaviest chugs and sweetest leads clear, controlled, and mix-ready without requiring any additional plugins.

Konvikt includes:

Can I use Konvikt live?
Yes. Konvikt is built to run inside your DAW with zero reported latency, meaning it'll be as quick as your audio interface allows, making it a solid choice for live playing and performance rigs.
What formats does it come in and what DAW does it work with?
We provide VST3, Audio Unit, and AAX formats for MacOS, VST3 and AAX for Windows. Any DAW that supports these formats will work with them, for example: Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Cubase, Studio One, FL Studio, Reaper.
Does it work on Apple Silicon (M1 to M5) Macs? What about old Intel Macs?
Konvikt is fully native for Apple Silicon chips (M1, M2, M3 etc) as well as Intel Macs. No Rosetta required, but it's also compatible with Rosetta.
How many computers can I install it on?
Each license includes up to three simultaneous activations per user. This could be your main studio machine, a laptop, and a third rig. We understand that modern production often means working across multiple machines, so we're doing our bit to have your tools available wherever you need them.
Can I try it before purchasing it?
Of course, you can download a trial from our Downloads page. The trial version has all features of the full version, but inserts a short infrequent silence so you can decide with confidence before you buy.
Do I need to pay for updates?
NEVER. We believe in perpetual license and we like to work uninterrupted. So as long as fedDSP will be a company, your perpetual license will receive unlimited free updates.
